Meet Bella this cat has been through the mill, firstly her owner dumped her in February when he moved people in the area had been feeding her but this was the start of her problems she was not spayed we were contacted in July as she was covered in sores and fur loss because of fleas she was also pregnant we took her in she was doing well she’s really affectionate after being treated for fleas her sores were healing. we have a camera so we can monitor we noticed she was going into labour; we didn’t know how far along she was in her pregnancy, so we just thought this was normal but after the first kitten was born we realised that she was miscarrying we imediatly called the vets for advice and continued to watch her and she gave birth to two more and sadley they were all still born looking at the kittens it would appear she still had had about two weeks to go this all due neglect from her former owner. We booked her in to be spayed, but upon examination at the vets, it was discovered she had an upper respiratory infection, which, with the help of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication, she has recovered from. She is now booked in on the 10th of August to be spayed. And microchipped. We have started looking for her new home now that she can be reserved, and a home visit can be done. Once she is recovered from her spay, she will be able to go to her new home. She can live with another cat after careful introduction, but we are not sure about dogs. She deserves a calm home with a nice garden that she can explore after a few weeks. Unfortunately, she can not be rehomed to Ellesmere Port as this is where she previously lived. We are not sure how old she is, but we think she may be around two to three years old.

Micky and Marcus

Micky and Marcus are the last 2 of a litter of 5. Their mum sadly got killed on the road, and the gentleman who was feeding them didn’t want the same thing to happen to them, so he contacted us to see if we could help. We were able to find space to take them in; they are approx 11 weeks old. They have been vet checked flea/wormed and microchipped. They are the rescue’s favourite colour, black; some have a grey undercoat. They are sweet-natured and very playful; it would be nice if they went together or with a resident cat after slow, careful introduction. NO all-day workers, as they do need a meal at midday; they could possibly live with a cat-friendly dog, although they have not met one yet. The adoption fee covers them to be spayed/neutered when they weigh enough, and they come with five weeks free insurance.

Billy and Sticks

Billy, a fully black male, is a gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up to new faces, but he’s playful once he’s comfortable. He’s especially close to his sister (Sticks) who helps him feel confident, so he’d love to be rehomed alongside her.
Sticks, a grey tabby with white underneath; she’s a stunning girl who’s still learning to trust people and prefers not to be handled, but she lights up at playtime, chasing toys with real enthusiasm. She just needs an owner who’ll let her come to them in her own time, and would love to be rehomed alongside her brother (Billy), who helps her feel safe.
