The aims of Chester Kitty Cat Rescue (CKCR) are to promote humane behavior towards cats by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, and security for cats in and around the Chester area, which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among cats.
We have limited space to take in cats or kittens, as all our kitties go into a foster home where they are treated as a family member whilst awaiting their new home. Initially, when we take new cats in, they are segregated to ensure they are healthy and to give them a chance to settle and feel safe in their new environment.
Contact us to discuss what support we can offer should you wish to re-home your cat.
You can contact us by phone at 07591 976 006 between 10 am and 6 pm. The phone is manned by volunteers and there may be times we need to call you back.
If your cat needs veterinary help, please do not hesitate to call a vet. Time can mean saving the life of a kitty that may also be in pain.
